MOSCOW, Apr 23 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Sberbank is not negotiating funding a purchase of retail chain O’Key Group for its joint venture with Internet company Yandex, working on the basis of Yandex.Market, a source at the country’s biggest bank told PRIME on Tuesday.
“Information on Yandex.Market is not true,” the source said.
A Sberbank spokesperson reiterated that the bank does not plan to buy the retailer for itself.
Media reported earlier, quoting sources, that Sberbank may be in talks to buy a U.S. $465 million worth part of retail chain O’Key Group for the joint venture.
